a) StatusofE-ticketsafterChartpreparation:
1. ConfirmedEticket-E-ticketwhereallpassengersareconfirmed.
2. Partiallywaitlist/Confirmed/RACEticket-E-ticketwheresomepassengersareconfirmed/RACandotherwait-listed.
3. FullywaitlistedEtickets-E-ticketwhereallpassengersarewaitlisted.
b) Authorizationtoboardthetrain:
1. PassengerswithconfirmedEticketarepermittedtoboardthetrain.Theirnameswillappearonthereservationchart.
2. NameofpassengerswithPartiallyWaitlisted/Confirmed/RACwillappearonthechart(includingthewaitlistedpassengersinthepartiallywaitlistticket).
3. PNRshavingFullyWaitlistedstatuswillbedroppedandnamesofthepassengerswillnotappearonthereservationchart.Theyarenotallowedtoboardthetrain.Iffullwaitlistedpassengersarefoundtravelling,they
willbetreatedaswithoutticketandchargedasperextantRailwayrules.
c) Cancellation&refundrules:
1. ConfirmedTatkalE-ticket:NorefundwillbegrantedoncancellationofConfirmedTatkalE-ticket.
2. PartialcancellationofTatkalticketsisallowedforonlythosepassengerswhoseIDproofisnotgivenatthetimeofbooking.OncancellationofpassengerwhoseIDproofisgiven,allthepassengersonthatticketwillbe
cancelled.
3. ConfirmedE-ticketbeforechartpreparation:E-ticketcanbecancelledonlineandtheamountwillberefundedelectronicallytotherespectiveagent'saccountusedforbooking.
4. ConfirmedE-ticketafterchartpreparation:Cancellation/RefundrequestreceivedafterpreparationofchartareforwardedbyIRCTCtoconcernedrailwayformanualprocessing.Refundamountreceivedfrom
concernedrailwaywillbecreditbacktotherespectiveagent'saccountusedforbookingbyIRCTC.
5. PartiallywaitlistedE-ticketbeforechartpreparation:E-ticketcanbecancelledonlineandtheamountwillberefundedelectronicallytotherespectiveagent'saccountusedforbooking.
6. PartiallywaitlistedE-ticketafterchartpreparation:E-ticketcannotbecancelledonlineafterchartpreparation.Partiallywaitlistede-ticketholderwherepartpassengershavetravelledandwanttoclaimrefundfor
passengerswhohavenottravelledisrequiredtosendtheoriginalcertificateissuedbyTTE/ConductorinlieuofthesametoIRCTCafterfilingonlinerefundrequestthroughtherespectiveagent.Thepartially
waitlistede-ticketholderwherenopassengershavetravelledandwantstoclaimrefundisrequiredtofileonlinerefundrequestthroughrespectiveagent.Itwouldthenbeforwardedtoconcernedrailwayandrefund
receivedfromRailwayswouldbecreditedbackelectronicallytotherespectiveagent'saccountusedforbookingbyIRCTC.
7. FullywaitlistedE-ticketsbeforechartpreparation:E-ticketcanbecancelledonlineandamountwillberefundedelectronicallytotherespectiveagent'saccountusedforbookingbyIRCTC.
8. FullywaitlistedE-ticketsafterchartpreparation:E-ticketwillbeautomaticallycancelledbyRailwaysandamountwillberefundedelectronicallytotherespectiveagent'saccountusedforbookingbyIRCTC.
9. Iftheticketispartiallywaitlisted/Confirmed/RACatremotelocationchartpreparationthenE-ticketcannotbecancelledonline.Itisrequiredtofilerefundrequestonlineforclaimingrefundthroughtherespective
agent.ItwouldthenbeprocessedofflineandrefundreceivedfromRailwayswouldbecreditedbackelectronicallytotherespectiveagent'saccountusedforbookingbyIRCTC.
d) Iftrainiscancelled,E-ticketcanbecancelledonlineupto3daysfromthedateofdepartureofthetrainthroughtherespectiveagent'saccountusedforbooking.
e) Bankcharges,ifany,willbepayableextra.(FordetailsofbankchargeskindlyrefertoTermsandConditionsonwww.irctc.co.in)
f) TheCompartment/Cabin/Coupe/Coach/SeatnumbersforfirstACandFirstclasswillbeallottedatthetimeofchartpreparation.
g) Thecustomerwhohasoptedforauto-upgradationduringbookingofhis/here-ticketisrequestedtochecktheup-gradationchartbeforeboardingthetrain.
