Having this opportunity given to me from this ROP program gives me the hands on
experience that I will need to pursue my future in the medical field. Also working in the Family
Birth Center brings me closer to my dream of becoming a Obstetrician. Knowing that this job is
available lets me know that you are looking for someone that is as qualified as me.

I have always wanted to pursue my dream of working in the medical field. I started off as
a young child looking up random videos of surgeries and other videos pertaining to the medical
field. Once I reached high school I got involved in Temple High School Health Science Program
where I learned about the basics of health, medical terminology, medical microbiology,
Anatomy and Physiology. As a senior I started a CNA class that provided us with the experience
of job shadowing for three weeks. I ended up getting to job shadow in labor and delivery and
the surgery department. In mid October I moved to California where I joined the ROP program.
This medical program helped me become certified in HIPAA, OSHA, Bloodborne Pathogens,
Vital Signs, First Aid and BLS. Soon I will be hands on job shadowing at Family Birth Center to
pursue my dream of becoming an Obstetrician.

You should hire me because I am a hard worker that would not only learn from this
experience but will enjoy every moment of it. Thank you for taking your time to look over my

Thursday from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m.
