WHAT IS BITMAP GRAPHIC?

A bitmap graphic is composed of many tiny parts, called pixels,

which are often many different colours. Since the computer has to
store information about every single pixel in the image, the file
size of a bitmap graphic is often quite large. When you zoom into
a bitmap image, as you zoom further in the image loses it quality
and you can see its individual pixel
WHAT TEXT IS PRESENT?
The text which is present on the image is DONT BREATH
which is at the bottom of the image in the centre which is
in bold also which appears to be a tear in the title plus
there is another text on the image which says FROM THE
CREATORS OF EVIL DEAD which is located at the top centre
also it is in bold.
WHAT COLOURS ARE USED WITHIN THE
IMAGE?
As this is a horror film the choice of colours are very dark as it
matches the films personality. The film poster is an advert so
the colours draw attention to what its trying to showcase. The
shadow represents that theres someone or something over
shadowing the character giving the mysterious effect that
someone preying over them.
WHAT TEXTURE IS NOTICEABLE WITHIN
THE GRAPHIC?
The texture which is noticeable is the thermal effect which shows
the meaning behind the movie which indicates a person cant see but
can use their other senses which has been developed strongly the
hands on the face is a connotation of to be quite this reflects on the
title also the title in blocks however at the bottom its rigged a bit.
The showdown of the arm creeping through the darkness represents
how unexpected the movie is such as the scenes. The top right
corner has EVIL DEAD in a sharp font to bring out how the sharp
font is connected to the dead also its in red shows danger.
HOW BIG (SIZE) IS THE IMAGE AND HOW
ARE THE OBJECTS POSITIONED?

The size of the image is 509 x 755. The way the objects are
positioned is that the image of the girl that hands are covering
her mouth in fright is positioned in the middle as it makes more
sense and gives a wider view of the situation she is in, the title
DONT BREATH is placed in the middle beneath the image as
the image achieves more attraction then the title so its
underneath the image to show what it is about even though the
image says it all. The creators credit is placed above in the
centre.
WHAT CHARACTERS AND OBJECTS ARE
PRESENT?
The character in the image is Jane Levy playing Rocky
and she represents the group, the group that decided
to break into the blind man house thinking theyre
going to victimise the blind man however tables turn
and the group that breaks into the house becomes the
victim. The hands are tightly pressuring her mouth for
her to remain silence as its serious and looks like its
between life or death also her eyes have widen and
became big showing the fear in her eyes. The way the
hands are shown and positioned it looks masculine
however it might be her hands; you cant tell if its a
mans or women hand.
WHAT IS THE FILE TYPE AND SIZE?

I saved the film poster and these are the file type as size.
The type of file this is, is JEPG and the size of the file is
57.4KB which is in bytes as 58.845, however the original
movie poster the one that be used for advertisement would
have a different size when it gets produced by marketing
people.
WHAT RESOLUTION IS USED WITHIN THE
IMAGE?
Horizontal resolution and vertical resolution is 1dpi, resolution
means the quality of being determined or resolute. However
this is just the resolution of the image which I have saved; it
has a different resolution as the size (of the poster) would
become much bigger
WHAT TYPE OF GRAPHIC IS IT AND WHAT
IS THE PURPOSE?
This is a graphic, a movie poster to be precise and the purpose of
the poster is for entertainment as its advertising the film before
its release date to build up popularity before the film be released
able for consumers to view. You can tell this by looking at the top
in the centre as it states FROM THE CREATORS OF EVIL DEAD. As
teens and maybe older people like horror films this builds suspense
for the audience who are interested into this film as they enjoy
thriller/horror films.

This is fit for purpose as it builds tension which is being projected

from the image which causes the consumers to go and watch it.

WHAT IS A VECTOR GRAPHIC?

A Vector graphics is the creation of digital images

through a sequence of commands or mathematical
statements that place lines and shapes in a given two-
dimensional or three-dimensional space.
WHAT TEXT IS PRESENT?

There is no text present as majority of the Vector Image do

not have text not present. The text is not present on this
image as its a Emoji. Emoji are on ISO which is brought by
apple and its on android powered phones/tablet.
WHAT COLOUR IS USED WITHIN THE
IMAGE?

As this is a devil emoji and devils be portrayed in dark

tones and colours the colour used for this emoji is purple
and black, around the edges it fades from black into
purple also there is a lighter shade of purple going
towards the white undertones. Black is used for the emoji
detail face which has slight whiteness around it.
WHAT TEXTURE IS NOTICABLE WITHIN THE
GRAPHIC?

The texture which is noticeable the outline in black

making the emoji to stand out and making the colour pop
out giving it a fresh look also on the forehead it appears to
look like a shine giving it a realistic look also the shading
around the face is black merging within purple giving it
more of a 3-D look.

The size of this image is 480 x 480 and the image does not
have a position because you can position it anywhere
however on this slide it is positioned on the right centre.
When its used in texts or any social media platform the
emoji when it is used it goes after the text or if theres no
text it just appears.

The devil emoji is only present however the characters

present are the circle face and eyes along with slight
deformed triangles as horns and curved lines for eyebrows
and mouth.

The file type is PNG and the size is 157KB which in bytes is
160.808, bear in mind I downloaded the emoji image
however when it used in software's such as IOS and Android it
has a different size and file type on the device.
WHAT RESOLUTION IS USED WITHIN THE
IMAGE?
As I right clicked on the saved emoji and clicked
properties the resolution did not appear in fact it was not
even on the detail and general list.
WHAT TYPE OF GRAPHIC IS IT?

This type of graphic is a logo as it be used not in a

specific way however this is used mostly in social
media activities. As times have changed the so called
emoji which where ;) and now they are 3D virtual
emoji which are now used to show our emotions
through texts.
WHAT IS THE PURPOSE OF THE IMAGE?

The purpose of emoji is to show the emotions through

emoticon via text, emails, any type of communication
or any platform of social media.

This emoji is fit for purpose as it shows emotion and

this shows mischievous this is indicated by the raised
eyebrows and the oval eyes and the smile. The reason
why its purple and not red as the devil is because the
red represents the serious side of the devil.
