Notes:

The character of Kelly is not included in either version of the play since it would be a
redundant addition. While editing either version of the play you must consider the
end, bear in mind any changes you intend to make should ultimately be aligned to
the outcome of the play. I have re-read both of plays and I suggest any alteration
required in the lines of a particular character should be done by the actor with the
help of a designated script editor or the director.

Do not deviate from the structure and facts of the play, certain facts about the play
should not change:

-The play is highly dependent upon the actors and their speech, over exaggeration
of the expression would affect the tone of the play.

-The character of the Father will not change. His age should be around sixty and
certainly cannot have an undercut as hairstyle. His cane is of utmost importance.
He is not a womanizer; he was open about his affairs but disregarded his wifes
emotions.

-The mother is an educated woman, her voice should not sound weak or that of
whimpering. She knows what shes talking about.

-The story follows the emotions of Gregory and never from the point of view of other
characters.

-The quotes are thoughtfully placed, do not edit them.

-Adaptation does not mean Hinduization of the characters, a mother does not
necessarily wear a saree and the father does not necessarily wear a Nehru jacket,
mind they come from a rich, educated family.

-I kept the context Christian owing to my childhood, the language used is based the
families I had met.

-Background score will be required at the end of the v5 alt ending (check
background score of Swiss Army man). However, the directors could ponder over
the use of background score in v5.

-The Father explains about the box, it is necessary in v5 but avoidable in alt ending.

-In v5, Lynda is a ghost while in v5 alt ending Lynda is also Gregorys hallucination.

- My preferred ending is that of v5 alt ending, since all the previous events,
influence of other characters and the action of Gregory leads to it.
