(What Happened?)
Teachers devotion was in
Indonesian Bahasa.
Teacher used microphone to
teaching so he stocks in the same
place
Students were talking so until
they stop teacher left them to
talked. Teacher was listening to
them and after that students
stopped their noise.
After finished class students
must clean their desk and chair.
They threw the trash inside the
trashcans.

I think devotion is very important in teacher life. In Univarsitas
Pelita Harapans teacher also does devotion, but the language is
Bahasa Indonesia which is hard for me to understand. Devotion is
very important in peoples life and I was lost. Maybe they should
speak English because I saw most of the people can speak English
language, but they speak Bahasa Indonesia. It is good to give
priority to their language, but if they can speak English. They
should try to speak in English because many student come to learn
English language.
I think as a teacher, they need to speak with their teachers voice.
Because if teacher use their original voice then it will be effective
learning for students. Teacher used microphone, so he just stands in
the same place and position, he did not use his body language. So,
that I saw some of students slept in the classroom and made noise.
If teacher walk around the classroom, then students will be active
because body language and teachers movement are very important
for students to learn new things. In the future, I will use my loud
voice and walk around the classroom.
I like this part of the teacher because as a teacher we must listen
also students thought so they can also listen to their teacher. In my
practicum, also this situation happens then I will also listen to them
so later they can also listen to me. Some teacher does not want to
listen their students so they tell to stop them where it shows
negative impact in front of the students and they make more noise.
So, that I will listen to students and then they will respond me well.
This is good to teach students to not only academic knowledge, but
also teach good behavior. I will also teach my students to clean
their desk and take it the trash. Because it helps to build effective
manners. When I was high school my teacher also taught me to
clean our classroom because it shows respect to our class.
