Identif ied Strengths:

T he diagrams are very well done. T hey are detailed
enough to read clearly and understand where
everything is, but not too detailed so that the reader
gets lost in them or struggles to understand them.
Most of your writing is good, straightf orward, and
detailed. Your organizatio nal strategy also works
well. Nice work!

Identif ied Weaknesses:

You have some typos and small problems here and

there, among them labeling two f igures as "Fig 1."
T he biggest issue is that it took me awhile to see
how I was supposed to read this--basically that each
gray line was an entire section. I think because of
the gray dotted line down the center, it's hard to see
that. Also, the f irst gray line doesn't connect all the
way across. Let's talk about this in person and see if
we can f igure out how to address it.

Comment 1
T he cover has an excellent design and uses the design principles we talked about in class very
well. However, the name of the knif e is not correct!

Comment 2
Great diagrams here! Everything is clear and labeled very well. Nice work!

Comment 3
Am I to read this f rom lef t to right across the gray bands? I am a little conf used about the
construction.

Comment 4
You can cut down some of the language here, just a little bit, but removing most uses of "you"

Comment 5
run on sentence!

Comment 6
Is the caution note part of "Preparing the Device" or

"Preparing a Cutting Surf ace"? It seems like it should be closer in proximity to "Preparing the
Device."

Comment 7
I don't see a f igure 2 :(

Comment 8
Good heading design!

Comment 9
Notice the repetition of the word "again"--which is repetitive (like this comment!)
