The students were engaged in analyzing and evaluating Roman laws, asking many questions. Reflection went well as students wrote about laws in their own country. However, the teacher made a grammatical mistake that a student noticed and jokingly pointed out, making the teacher feel bad. Overall, the experience taught the importance of double checking work and redirecting inappropriate student behavior in a redemptive manner.
