IRR 2.3 To show the culture, values and Hallmarks of a Benedictine institution and
to promote the Benedictine value of Ora et Labora (Prayer and Work).
IRR 4.2 This years quiz bee is group competition. Each local chapter must form a
group consists of three (3) members. A local chapter can send maximum of
two (2) groups. Aside from this, each school may have a maximum of two
(2) expectators.
IRR 4.3 Change of contestant representing his/her school shall not be allowed
during the day of competition. Only pre-registered participants shall be
allowed to join the competition.
IRR 5.2 The contestants and companions/spectators must also accomplish the
online registration provided by JPIA-SBC.
IRR 6.2 Contestants must be properly registered and have signed the attendance
sheet before proceeding to the competition proper.
IRR 6.3 Late contestants shall be allowed to join the competition. However, he/she
shall no longer be allowed to answer the questions he/she has missed.
Hence, all latecomers shall automatically receive a zero point for question/s
already read and answered. Latecomers are entitled to answer only the
remaining questions in the said round.
IRR 6.4 Participants are the only ones given a chance to raise any protest, queries,
or any other clarifications, and this will be every after question each round.
Once the next question has been flipped and the quizmaster has started
reading the first word of the problem/question, there will be no
protest/clarification entertained for previous items.
IRR 6.5 The decision of the Board of Judges is final and irrevocable.
IRR 7.0 CONTEST MECHANICS
IRR 7.1 This years Franco Cup is group quiz bee which covers all the six (6) board
examination subjects namely: (1) Financial Accounting and Reporting; (2)
Advanced Accounting and Reporting; (3) Auditing; (4) Management
Advisory Services; (5) Regulatory Framework and Business Transaction
and; (6) Taxation
IRR 7.2 The quiz bee is comprised of three (3) rounds: Easy, Average and Difficult
Round. Each set of round has 15 questions to be answered within the time
allotted.
IRR 7.3 The participants are given the following time allotments and corresponding
points in answering the questions:
IRR 7.6 The contestants are only allowed to manipulate their calculators only after
the quizmaster has said the word GO.
IRR 7.7 After the time allotted, the participants must raise their answer boards
immediately.
IRR 7.8 The top three (3) groups who got the highest scores for each quiz bee will
be awarded accordingly.
