Attention Human Resources:

I am seeking a full time position with Boys and Girls Club of Durham starting April 1st, 2017 as I
am greatly interested in working with youth in a law-based setting. Throughout my few years in
the work force, I have effectively worked with numerous individuals holding different
capabilities and experiences.

I believe that my training and knowledge in working with people who have different abilities
would make me a strong asset within your agency. Specifically, my developed communication
skills and ability to work independently would allow me to positively interact with clients both
verbally and non-verbally. From my past work experience, I have learned how to work with a
variety of people, some of which who have been difficult individuals, in diverse environments.

Thus far in my schooling, I have had the opportunity to learn and practice many skills that would
contribute to me succeeding within your agency. I have developed leadership capabilities
throughout my volunteer and work experiences by facilitating my own swim classes and as a role
model for new instructors. By attaining a position within Boys and Girls Club of Durham, I
would have the ability to refine my existing skills, as well as contribute to your agency.
