Students in the Community

Parkway Northwest students did some fantastic
volunteer work throughout the past couple months!
Some highlights: Awbury Arboretums Harvest festival
was a big hit, thanks to Parkway Northwest students
who ran fun events like cider-making and face painting.
At the Empty Bowls Dinner in November, students
served up delicious soup and designed creative donation
boxes for a huge fundraiser in support of Philadelphians
encountering homelessness. Lots of students have also
been pitching in at holiday festivals from different
community organizationsfrom helping out at the sales
booth to cookie decorating with kids, students have done
a great job bringing their holiday spirit into
Philadelphia's neighborhoods!

Students can stop by the Student Community
Center in Room 110 to check out upcoming volunteer
and enrichment opportunities in the new year. Now is an
essential time for us to work together towards uplifting
