Shigeo Fukuda

Forma composicin colores, trabajo tipogrfico, estilos conceptuales, temas,

materiales,

Fukuda logr ser reconocido rpidamente por sus puntos de vista poco convencionales. Muchos de sus trabajos expresan
un concepto no verbal o presenta fenmenos visuales inexplicables. Sus diseos transforman ideas complejas en obras
asombrosamente simples y sencillas.

Mr. Fukuda was expert at communicatingmessages using minimal graphic means.

Althoughhe admired Japanese woodblock traditions, hisspare style was universal, his
symbolism bridgingcultural divide

Fukuda's inventive, yet subtle, use of optical illusion and unconventional illustrative devices have
remained essentially unchanged

Fukuda, as you know by now, uses negative space, illusion, distortion,

perspective and color to make his abstract designs. Shigeo Fukudas
influence was the Swiss Style design movement and a graphic designer,
Takashi Kono. In graphic design, it is very important to decide the kind of
communication channel you will use. If you want to disseminate a
message to a particular audience, you need to decide how you will
present your design. In this case, Fukuda used posters as a medium.
