Automotive industry uses include as a fuel additive to 5L, 25L, 205L


solubilize water in gasoline to prevent the water from
accumulating in supply lines and freezing.
Also used to remove brake fluid traces from hydraulic
braking systems so that the brake fluid does not
contaminate the brake pads which would result in poor USE AS:
braking.
It is also a common cleaning fluid, especially for Solvent
dissolving oils. It evaporates quickly and is relatively
non-toxic compared to alternative solvents. Also used Fuel additive
for cleaning electronic devices such as disk heads
Remove brake fluid
(audio and video tape recorders), the lenses of lasers
in optical disc drives (e.g. CD, DVD) as well as cleaning Cleaning fluid
keyboards, laptops, monitors, whiteboards and is a
strong and safer alternative to common household Wetting agent in lithographic
cleaning products when removing stains from most printing
fabrics, wood, cotton, etc.
Due to its low toxicity & evaporative qualities, Isopropyl
alcohol is also used for various pharmaceutical
applications, as a wetting agent in lithographic printing
and as a solvent for French polishing shellac used in
cabinet making.
