Trust in God (A)

A) Theme: Never Loose Trust

B) Reading: Psalm 27:1-3, NRSVCE "1 The Lord is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear? The
Lord is the stronghold of my life; of whom shall I be afraid? 2 When evildoers assail me to devour my
fleshmy adversaries and foesthey shall stumble and fall. 3 Though an army encamp against me, my
heart shall not fear; though war rise up against me, yet I will be confident.
C) Reflection: In life trust between yourself and God, yourself and family, and yourself and friends is key.
Trust is a firm belief in the reliability, truth, ability, or strength of someone or something. You must have
that trust to succeed in life. That trust reassures that someone will always be there to back you up. For
example in the passage, when you go into battle God makes the enemies stumble and fall. That assurance
of Him being there helps us get through daily life and be more successful. The main reflection of the
passage is Trust in God is key.
D) Prayer: Trust is Our Lord
Lord wants our trust
Lord is given our trust
Lord protects us
Lord defends us
Lord fights for us
Lord makes our enemies stumble and fall
Lord helps us stay standing
