Describe the instructional activities that will occur prior to the SRS activity and how you will
introduce the SRS activity: Students will have received notes relative to the information and content that
will allow them to know the information once they have reached the SRS assessment. The SRS activity will
be introduced to students at the end of the unit and they will be aware of it because it will be the end of unit
assessment or review depending on the flow of the class and structure of the schedule.

Briefly describe what will happen during the SRS activity (For example: What will students do? What
will the teacher do? What materials are needed? How long will the SRS activity take? The overview should

This SRS activity is used through Kahoot which is an interactive study guide/ assessment tool that students
can use to support their learning. Questions can range from multiple choice, true false, and free response.
So this allows students to take control of their learning and scores. The teacher will log into the system and
pull it up for students to enter the code into their mobile device. Most students are familiar with this
program so the structure and directions and easier for students to follow.
The only necessary tools will be a phone, computer, and projector screen that connects to the internet.
Activities can range depending on the length of the question timer, difficulty of the question, and the
number of questions that students must answer. The questions for this SRS activity will be relative to the
Age of Discovery and the Pre-Columbian era of World History. These standards fall in line with the
Georgia Performance Standards of SSWH8 and SSWH 10.
