Note!
Flash burning & firmware version 3.1.9X (including 3.2.X) and above are supported
only in the new Provision-ISR DVR models, DVR models that use cases as in the
pictures below:
4. Format your USB flash disk (FAT32 MAX capacity 32GB), and move these files into
your flash disks root directory
5. Power off the DVR; make sure theres no electricity, then plug the USB flash disk
into the DVR's USB port
6. Power up the DVR, if you can see a blank screen instead of H264 logo, then it
means the DVR has successfully recognized the files and is upgrading the flash
files;

7. Please wait (up to 25 minutes). Your DVR will automatically reboot (twice) and
re-enter the system.
When the process is successful you will see the following screen:
Remember!
The firmware update can be done via the Network / or from a USB flash disk.
You need to verify that no flash burning files exist on the root directory (or it
will re-perform flash burning while the DVR restarts)
10. Perform a firmware upgrade to the final FW version directly from the tar file (do
not extract). You can execute the firmware upgrade from a USB disk / or remotely
via the network
Important Notices:
Always perform firmware update (final version) after flash burning
The flash & firmware files are only for Distributors use - Do not
distribute the files to customers / 3rd parties
The flash update may fail if your USB flash disk doesnt support the MBR
attribute (rare).
