Jesse Sheets and International Rescue Committee,

I am delighted to report that I am sending a donation of $400 to the International

Rescue Committee. My fathers side of the family had immigrated to the United
States as refugees during the Vietnam War trying to make a new life for themselves
from little to nothing. My grandmother had to take care of three children in a
foreign country with little knowledge of the English language. I would like to pay
my respects to the current refugees and other groups that are experiencing similar
circumstances and starting a new life.

In this month I have raised funds by selling muffins and other foods during my
high schools lunch period. The results were outstanding and I am proud to be
donating this amount.

I hope that this monetary donation will help your organization achieve amazing
results in giving people opportunities.
