Beginning the Lesson:
Greeting students. Reading through the classroom rules Listen carefully Raise your hand Be patient 7min Be respectful Introduce the topic the topic fewer and less First I will choose two students for a demonstration. Give each student a chocolate, or other manipulative, making sure they do not get the same amount. Ask a student who has more or less chocolate and how they know.
Developing the Lesson
18mi n Tell students that they have just compared numbers, which is what today lesson plan is. Then play a game with students ( cards) Remove all the faces card, jokers, and aces so that the deck only contains numbers 2-10 Play the game like described above, but with less cards As we play ask the questions related to the topic What number do you have? What number do I have? Which number is more? Which number is less? After playing game if it is necessary, teacher will provide a manipulative to help the student to decide which more is. After that I will put the bears or blocks or play dough and ask them to put according to the number they have. And ask which card has more? Give student independent working time o Give them the flash cards with worksheet to each student. o Go around to the room to guide students and check for understanding.
