Introduction

To ensure no regression on users experience, Field assessment was carried out on some selected sites on
RNC12 as shown below

Static test;
On each site (5 sites );
30 short call (interval of 15s, duration 30s).

Mobility (Cluster Drive)

HSDPA heavy download (MS2)

Several short call tests were done on 1259BKO, 1143BKO, 1020BKO, 047BKO and 023BKO on RNC12 after activation of
URAPCH +Direct transition +Fast Dormancy. No regression observed on quality of experience.

Above shows distribution of HSPDA throughput for mobility Test. 96% can be seen to be above 2mbps
Conclusions

- No regression was observed during field test after activation of URA PCH + Direct Transition + Fast Dormancy on
RNC12.

- Please note that It is important to be on lookout for increased customer complaints in case of missed issue on
quality of experience from end users.
