STUDY MODEL ANALYSIS
All furniture peices are made up of rectangular forms, with the bed being the
emphasis in the room. To create a symmetrical balance, nightstands are placed
on both sides of the bed, a bench centered at the rear of the bed. A dresser is
placed to one side of the room creating asymmetry, adding a storage or
shelving unit to the opposite side would harmonize the room. The scale of the
furniture are all quite short in relation the 10 ceiling height. This gives me
room to put in a beautiful chandelier centered in the room to draw your eyes
up. The proportion of the space with each furniture piece collected as a whole
is evenly spaced apart and balanced.
