    Punjab National Bank raised Rs. 500 Crore through the issuance of unsecured, subordinated, fully paid-up, non-convertible, perpetual debt instruments known as Basel III compliant, perpetual debt instruments or bonds with a face value of Rs. 10 lakhs each at an annual coupon rate of 9.21% to be included in its additional tier 1 capital.     Pursuant to Regulation 30 of SEBI (LODR) Regulations, 2015, the exchange is hereby


    informed that the Bank raised Rs. 500 Crore on 24.03.2017 through Unsecured,
    Subordinated, fully paid-up, non-convertible, Basel III compliant, perpetual debt
    instruments (series IX) in the nature of debentures for inclusion in additional tier I capital
    of face value of Rs. 10.00 lakhs each ("bonds") at a coupon rate of @ 9.21 % payable
    annually.
