Sometimes, its more than just passion. Igniting a gift with boundless inspiration, Andine
Sutarjadis brainchild and alter ego INES caved in to a creative world where only words,
rhythms, emotions and melodies matter (aside from the occasional noodle run and booze-
induced late night jams).

As the entrancing world of music became harder to ignore, INES finally caved in to
pursue her talent seriously. Despite four years pursuing a non-music related degree at
Boston University, she could no longer ignore the beckoning sounds of her passion. It
doesnt hurt that Andine hangs around some pretty talented musicians in the hotbed of
collegiate music down the road, Berklee College of Music.

Globetrotter. Born in the USA and raised in Indonesia, INES has come full circle in focus
and home. The New York-based musician initially sought to follow her second biggest
interest, medicine and human welfare before fully redirecting her attention to a somewhat
more dubious (read: #struggle city) industry. Using music as an outlet, her signature
sound is reflective of her emotions, thoughts and reveries before you think any further,
theres none of that emo, self-loathing found here.

As a result of sleepless nights, distraught and unexpressed artistic emotion, in March

2014, The Sanctuary Mixtape was released. The Sanctuary Mixtape received praise from
such blogs as Stoney Roads, SINDHEN, and Jadamix.fm, as well as featured in print
publications such as New York-based Conflux Magazine and NYLON Indonesia. Co-
produced with long-time friend and musician Wahono, the LP comprises of three tracks
of her highly melodic, downtempo and seductive sound. Reppin it old school, she counts
some of her biggest influences as 80s and 90s female vocalists, as well as new wave
sounds. Presently, she continues to expand her work in music through INES and is
working on two tracks scheduled for a dual-release in December 2015.
