NIELS FABIAN HELGE VON KOCH was

born in Stockholm the 25 th January of 1870, and died the 11 th


march of 1924.

He was a Swedish mathematician whose name was assigned


to a famous fractal curve named Koch snowflake curve, one
of the first fractal curves in being described.

He had mathematic lessons in the Stockholm university with


a famous Swedish mathematician Manus Gsta Mittag-
Leffler,

Von Koch wrote many articles on number theory. One of his


results was the theorem that proof Riemann Hypothesis,
these, equivalent to Prime Numbers Theorem.

He described the curve named Koch in an article of 1904


entitled On a continuous curve that has no tangents and
obtained by the methods of elementary geometry
