DIGNITY FOR CHILDREN FOUNDATION

The Dignity for Children Foundation is a non-profitable organization. It is the largest one-stop
learning centre for urban poor children in Malaysia and currently serves 700 children between
the ages of 2 - 17 with education programs from preschool to secondary and vocational training.
It is believed that quality and holistic education is the key to breaking the cycle of poverty. For
over 10 years, this foundation has strived to provide the nest education for those in the greatest
need.

The vision is to empower underprivileged children to break the cycle of poverty through quality
education, positively transforming their lives and the lives of the community around them. The
Mission is to establish high-quality, one-stop community learning centres for the poor;
implementing specialized learning environments which develop children academically and
socially, empowering them to become productive members of society. The new project that is
currently being funded by the Dignity for Children Foundation is the setting up of Maryland
Kindergarten.
