Union Bank of the Philippines started as a government-owned commercial


bank on January 19, 1982. Beginning 1988, it was gradually privatized. In
July 1992, UnionBank was granted the license to operate as a universal bank.
The bank acquired the International Corporate Bank (Interbank) in 1994.

For the US Dollar conversion, if the dollar depository account is with us, we
credit the peso proceeds on the same day including the transfer of funds to
another local bank.

We are waiving the inward remittance charge of $10 and RTGS charge (going
to another bank) of P100 for your company.
