For this project, you will create a menu for your own (imaginary!) French restaurant!
You should start by researching French restaurant menus online, then choose some
dishes that interest you, find images of them (or draw them yourselves!), and put
together a creative, colorful menu that youll be proud to show to your classmates!
Be sure to include all categories from the rubric, below. Feel free to work ahead of
the due dates.
The goal of this project is to learn about French restaurants as well as French dishes
and their ingredients.
Remember: all of the names of dishes on the menu must be written EN FRANAIS
(but you should translate the descriptions of the menu items into English, so you remember what
they are!)
(note: use www.wordreference.com to look up any words or dishes that you dont
know)

STEP 2: FINAL MENU DUE and PRESENTED
Due on Friday March 10th, 2017
Your final menu is due that day, complete with a full list of menu items and images
to represent them.
Grading Rubric:
___ / 15 points you included authentic French dishes that follow a theme and
spelled and described them correctly, your restaurant has a French name and
address and prices in Euros
___ / 5 points your first draft was on time and you made appropriate changes/edits
after talking to Mlle A.
___ / 10 points your menu is well put-together and the graphics and colors are eye-
catching
___ / 10 points you did a good job sharing your menu with the class and were
knowledgeable about the dishes
