Training Framework
Every squad will have an individual focus, in which the programmes and activities will be
tailored towards.
Sec 1 Squad AWARE of Self, Others, SPF and NPCC Knowing oneself
Sec 2 Squad ACQUIRE skills and knowledge Stepping out and interacting
Secondary 1
For the Secondary 1 level, this will be an introduction to the National Police Cadet Corps and
the Singapore Police Force. Cadets will learn about the various badges, ranks and
opportunities which they can have during their time in the NPCC.
This will be a stepping stone for the Secondary 1 cadets to learn about what they are good
at, and even things which they are not so proficient in. This will give them an opportunity to
harness on their strengths and work on their weaknesses, together as an individual and as a
team.
Secondary 2
The secondary 2 squad will focus on acquiring skills and knowledge. These skills range from
hard skills such as drills and camp craft to soft skills such as communicating with one
another, patience, time management, motivation, amongst others.
Secondary 3
The secondary 3 squad will focus on stepping out and taking charge of projects and tasks
ranging from small scale activities/events such as teaching the secondary 1 squad to
ensuring all the attendance matters/consent forms are all collected and accounted for and
also opportunities in leading the parade during NPCC day, etc.
