A special thank you from Pierce

Burgin our Student Council President:

The VA NJ Hospital Bingo Social was a successful day of service and fellowship with our hospitalized
heroes!
Seventeen schools partner with "Red, White, and Blue Jeans for Veterans" raising over $7,000, filling
eighty care packages, making three hundred fifty Veterans Day cards, serving thirty Dominos pizzas,
delivering four butter cookie trays and sugar-free snack baskets, and awarding Canteen Coupons as
Bingo prizes. Remaining funds are donated to the VA Hospital's Recreation Fund ensuring our veterans
celebrate throughout the year!
During the past five years, our "Red, White, and Blue Jeans for Veterans" partnership raised over
$30,000 in donations and care packages supporting our hospitalized heroes recreation! My friends and I
have shared pizza with a soldier who stormed Omaha Beach, played Bingo with an "Old Grad" from
West Point, and sat with a young US Marine battling ALS. Thank you for honoring our veterans ser-
vice, appreciating their sacrifices, and understanding one of the greatest casualties of having served is
being forgotten.

recently provided artwork for a well-known local charitable organization,
creating 'Wanted' posters to decorate several areas in the Monster Martin
Haunted Penitentiary Attraction in Pitman. For 15 years, The Monster
Martin Haunted House has collected food for local pantries along with
monetary donations.
The winners in the attached photo had their artwork selected as outstand-
ing, with each student receiving a tee shirt, gift certificate & line-hopper
VIP tickets to the attraction. Pictured (l to r) are Laurianna Panico, Alex-
andria Salvitti & Madison Barnes. Congratulations!

All of the men in the choral program participated in a master class lead
by Dr. Christopher Thomas from Rowan University. There they learned
various techniques and skills to improve their vocal production while all
having fun. 520 boys participated in this event. Here are some photos
