Fully-illustrated, 20-page catalogue with essay published for "Almost Zero: New Work by Brian Trelegan," an exhibition of sound/visual art that was at Williams College from February 25 to March 11, 2017.
From the exhibition announcement:
"Trelegan stops tinkering, for a bit, to show us the results so far of his experiments with software and dated technology in "Almost Zero: New Work by Brian Trelegan." Playing off such influences as Bridget Riley, Bon Iver, The Strokes and Brian Eno, Trelegan intentionally distorts his source imagery and sound -- thus giving material form to the digital and reminding us of the emotion lodged in mechanical systems."
