What Are The Guiding Principles of The Clean Air Act?
Promote and protect the global environment while recognizing the primary responsibility of
local government units to deal with environmental problems;
Recognize that the responsibility of cleaning the habitat and environment is primarily area-
based;
Recognize that a clean and healthy environment is for the good of all and should therefore be
the concern of all.
These two reforms are aimed at encouraging greater competition and at attracting more private-
sector investments in the power industry. A more competitive power industry will in turn result in
lower power rates and a more efficient delivery of electricity supply to end-users.
3. What are the similarities (if any) between these four laws?
These laws carried out the constitutional directive to put into effect the full control and supervision
by the State of its ENERGY and NATURAL RESOURCES.
