2017 ETA OMEGA CHAPTER CLASSROOM GRANT

GUIDELINES:
PURPOSE:

This classroom grant is designed to support women educators of the Brazosport Independent
School District.

GOAL:

Our goal is to provide a classroom educator with funds for a desired tool to enhance learning.

AMOUNT:

The amount available per grant will be up to $150, dependent upon the number of applicants and
the decision of the grant awards committee.

GENERAL INFORMATION / ELIGIBILITY:

Applicant must secure application form.

Applicant must be a BISD classroom teacher.

Materials purchased with this grant are intended to remain in a BISD classroom, to allow
continuing use of grant funds within the district.

In the Expenditure and Goals/Justification sections, the applicant must include a detailed
description of the desired learning tool and the learning enhancement expected.

The applicant is responsible for submitting the completed application.

Eta Omega Chapter can assume no responsibility for collecting data for any application.

Incomplete/unsigned applications will not be considered.

Faxed applications will not be accepted.

APPLICATION PROCEDURE:

The application form must be completed in its entirety and must be signed by the applicant.

The application form may be submitted by email and will receive an acknowledgement of
reception.

The application material must be received no later than Friday, March 24, 2017.

INFORMATION ON DISTRIBUTION AND DOCUMENTATION

Winning teacher(s) must agree to pose for archive and publicity photos with representatives
of Eta Omega upon check presentation and upon classroom implementation of grant.
