I am writing to recommend Nadar Sarang to be considered for your university. I am a teacher at

El Capitan High School and have Nadar in my class as as a student her Freshman year and
have mentored her throughout high school. Nadar has shown tremendous perseverance
overcoming her disabilities and hardships at home to maintain a 4.2 G.P.A. Nadar is apart of
crosscountry and track where he arrives at 6:30 in morning before school to train by himself. He
committed and dedicated to anything he applies herself too. He is an active leader on campus
with his involvement in Leadership and Link Crew. The best attributes Nadar has are his
perseverance, dedication, and his leadership qualities. High school classes were not easy for
Nadar, but his determination and effort evident when he would seek assistance by the teacher so
he could study during lunch in my class. Nadar has tremendous pride in his community, by
volunteering at the I Love Merced.

He has demonstrated leadership qualities the entire time He has been in school. He is a great
example to the rest of the student body; of someone who works hard and cares about everything
he does. I have enjoyed watching Nadar grow into an amazing person who brings a positive
attitude with her everyday.

Nadars ability to be organized, confident, a leader, and professional makes her a great
