    This Months Focus


    Our theme will continue to be Nature All
    Reminders Around Us & Moving On
    Each week this month we will be learning a
    * *Scholastic orders are due online by
    new letter! The letters are: Vv, Ww, Xx, Yy.
    April 21st **Have your child bring in (Tues-Fri) an item from
    your house that begins with the letter of the
    *Please make sure we are checking week**
    and cleaning out our folders daily LEARNING TARGETS:
    Literacy:
    *No School-April 14th * I can blend onset and rime of single syllable
    *No School-April 17th words
    *I can begin to blend phonemes
    *I can show you how print works
    *I can count the words in a sentence

    Writing:
    Wish List *I can write my last name
    *Mr. Potato Head & *I can use recognizable letters in my writing
    *I can stretch and blend two & three letter
    accessories words
    *I can add detail to my pictures
    *Baby dolls
    *Dress up clothes Math:
    *I can recognize numerals to 10 or beyond
    *I can sort by size
    *I can count past 20

    Science:
    *I can tell the difference between types
    Reading of weather and seasons.
    We have reading strategies that help us.

    Eagle Eye-look at the picture for a clue


    Lips the Fish-get your mouth ready to
    make the beginning sound Happy Birthday!
    Stretchy the Snake-stretch out the word Rylee-April 1st
    We focus on these three strategies Reid-April 3rd
    when reading.
