    Jane Austen is one of my favorite authors and as an English Major years ago I always dreamed of

    meeting her. Thus here I am, creating what I would imagine her Social Media profile would look like. Her

    profile reflects her literary work and her ambition. Unlike many other female authors of the time she was

    recognized and famous during her life. If Ms. Austen ever did arise from the dead, and open a Facebook

    Profile I would absolutely befriend her. Her quotes are witty, her likes are interesting and her mutual

    friends would be nothing short of literary geniuses. I do not think Jane would have had a Facebook profile

    of her own, as she often states that conversation was so crucial to survival. I do think she would have

    wondered on other individuals sites to see what their interest were as she had a curious mind.

    Jane has such a cult like following it would be very difficult to represent her well in this Social

    Media world. She has so many fans and has established such a sense of a different time I think it would

    be difficult to bring her literally achievements to a computer screen, it almost anti Jane.
