The experimental procedure for experiment one is as below:

1. Adjust the inflow depth in flume channel using pipe valve and wait for the water to
stabilize.
2. Measure the flow velocity for at least three readings using velocity meter at the
middle of flume channel, and average the three reading.
3. Measure the time taken for the water fill in the tank for 12000 cm3for at least three
readings and average the three reading.
4. Record all the data needed in Table 3.1 and Table 3.2.
5. Repeat step 1 4 with increase inflow discharge.
6. Remove the water in harvested water tank when needed.
