The Foundation Day

Foundation Day is a day of remembrance, a day of honoring, a day to celebrate

what has been achieved over the past 40 years, and a day to look forward to what is yet

to come. This day stands as a reminder to us that when we forget our history, we move

into an uncertain future. We celebrate the Day to maintain the schools principle, so that

the teachers, the staff, and the students will be reminded of it.

February 22,2017 is the start of the celebration wherein we had our dry run to

find out if the performance of the students is satisfactory to be presented. Grade 11 are

the first who present followed by grade 10, grade 9, grade 8, and grade 7. After the dry

run we practiced on the history of AMPMNHS. The next day, February 23, 2017 we had

our mass in the morning then after is the preparation for the pageant. Afternoon in

February 23 is the awaiting for the search of Mr. and Ms. Foundation 2017. Everyone is

glad and excited who will take the next crown. Every year level has their own way to

support their representatives, some made a banner and some also shout. The

candidates did their best but the representatives of grade 9 are the ones who win the

pageant. The next morning, the parade started at exactly 7 oclock. Every year level has

their own color coding wherein the grade 11 wear a shirt that is color black. After the

parade is the reading of the history of AMPMNHS. Next is a short message of honorable

Cresencio Pacalso and Mayor Victorio Palangdan. When the message of the speaker is

over, the ground demonstration of the students starts and the sequence in the dry run is

the one followed. As the presentation of grade 11 finished, we went to the H.E room to

prepare the foods to be served. After lunch, we cleaned up the H.E room.
