College with my Associate of Applied Science of Dental Hygiene. I am currently searching for a

PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE/ JOB HISTORY

Genesis Development Indianola Iowa- 2011-2013
I provided care for mentally changed/special needs members. This took place in the community, in their homes, and
at a day habilitation center. I assisted members by teaching them proper social skills, basic skills of living in group
homes such as cleaning, proper hygiene, and proper dietary needs. I also was trained and certified to administer
medications up to 15 members. I was responsible for up to 8 members per shift, assisting with their goals,
medications, ADLs and accurately recording and documenting interventions needed and every activity performed.
Good Samaritan Society Nursing Home-2012-2013
I worked as a Certified Nursing Assistant in the nursing home unit, rehabilitation unit, and Alzheimers unit. The
reason I worked in so many units was because I was interested in learning how to care all sorts of people with
different disabilities and limitations. I am also good with change so when it was short staffed or someone called in I
was pleased to go where I was needed. As a CNA I provided residents with ADLs including, oral care, denture care,
dining, grooming, transferring, and using the restroom. I was required to accurately document all of the above in
detail every day.
