FYI.
The EXISTING two distinct water lines on ALL beaches will hide two layers
perhaps 2-4 inches thick of Corexit and Oil which will evaporate slowly
each hour the sun strikes the sand along with the Sea Water. Backhoe
and Bull Dozers will show depth into the sand of contamination.

creatures inland to wash them off with DAWN and water then depositing
the OIL and Water into sanitary sewers or lakes, rivers, streams must be
reviewed immediately as special SAND FILTERS like gas stations use
must be utilized to stop putting the dangerous and possibly
RADIOACTIVE OIL back into the domestic drinking water draw areas.
NOW FOR THE REAL SCARE --- How many of you actually thought the
WELL CASINGS were not going to rust through in your lifetime releasing
uncontrolled amounts of Oil and Gas into the GULF or GULF AIR ? Better
get off your CARD GAMES on the Laptops and start getting legislation
passed IMMEDIATELY demanding all future drilling rigs use only Stainless
Steel Casings which will not rust !
A SIMILAR SMALLER BOP WITH CAP COULD AND SHOULD HAVE BEEN
IN PLACE TWO DAYS AFTER THE SPILL AND BAD BOP DIAGNOSIS !
ANYONE DESIRE TO PLACE YOUR BETS IN LAS VEGAS THAT THE BOP
AND ADDITIONS WILL FALL OVER IN WAVES ALONE ?
Think of this for one moment --- IMAGINE THREE WELLS RUNNING WILD
BLOWING OUT GAS AND OIL --- USCG, NAVY, MILITARY AND CIVILIAN
FORCES READY TO USE THE BRANKO R. BABIC FRICTION PLUG AND
BRANKO R. BABIC COUNTER PRESSURE PLUGS THEN ?

How long does it take to make a friction PLUG Mr. Babic ? What about
STAINLESS STEEL USE FOR CASINGS AND FRICTION PLUG ?
How long to make a Counter Pressure Plug with flow thru pipe and
weights of STAINLESS STEEL SUPER THICK 21 INCH RISER AND
SHUTOFF?
How long to take the friction plug 200 feet or so in length over and lower
same into the casing anywhere on the Planet ?
How long to make up fresh water barges and hydraulic cement to push
down into the casing to seal the well forever ?

Sadly the normal routine would be to remove the existing Cameron BOP,
replace same with another smaller BOP like the 18 foot capping stack then
look at the damaged or failure BOP ON THE SURFACE to see what really
happened. Such would also ALLOW BP TO SHUT OFF THE WELL
CASING at will but removed the super high tilting BOP which is really
prone to damage now and possibly going to fall over if the casing is
damaged below the BOP male connection would nearly remove the risks.
Notice that FINALLY Cameron or someone gave the BP people the flange
measurements which could have accomplished the shutting down part
with the Branko R. Babic counter pressure plug attached to the full riser
some 10 feet long then weighted section and shutoff gate valve rated at
15,000 PSI. On top would be another small section of riser super thick to a
flange allowing BP to pull off oil and gas for an unlimited amount of time.
BP sure came up fast with a male adapter on flange to attach to the small
BOP female which due to weight at 150,000 pounds will sit down but I am
worried about the LEAN AND FAILURE DOWN THE ROAD ! The TOP KILL
can be used again on the smaller BOP but still the EVIDENCE NEEDED UP
ON TOP IS Se TILL ATTACHED AND WILL INDEED FALL OVER
SHATTERING THE CASING MALE RISER !
Hope they have your Friction Plug standing bye on the bottom as once
they try to shut down the flow the damaged lower casing may show clearly
a problem and final sealing with Counter Pressure Plug may be thrown
away if they attempt to use the IXTOC 1 method and again I urge everyone
to use LEAD BALLS either Baseball or Softball SIZE forced into the casing
like IXTOC 1 PEMEX people used to seal the casing and remember
eventually the BOP DAMAGED DEEPWATER HORIZON must be removed
and casing top sealed.

Stay safe Mr. Babic and watch what happens to this fiasco as they are
indeed pushing the leaning damaged BOP to new limits of stress with the
165,000 pounds plus the pull on the RISERS.

Dear Ralph,
have we not been saying since this disaster happened, that they cut off the damaged pipe and attach a
repair to the cut riser. Undo the flange bolts by all means, and bolt down the repair service but in
both cases, we were asking BP to do the very thing they have finally done!
Much of the disaster could have been avoided had they adopted the Counter Pressure Plug (CPP)
concept we presented in May!
Of course BP is not acknowledging our contribution, now saying, “oh yes, we have something

similar to your patents that we have designed as a means of repairing the damaged installation”.
I experienced the same problem in Kuwaiti in 1991 and those who took my patents, walked of with
billions, without paying me a penny for the use of my patents. Frightening!
Regards,
Branko Babic.

Brad Wehdt also recommended another BOP to shut down the well. Think BP will plan on
keeping old BOP on casing but I predict casing leak or worse BOP falls over.

still going?
Here is difinitive proof that BP, gov and print/broadcasting media was informed(at least by
me) of fix to replacing flange and broken pipe months ago there by avoiding this diaster...
BP just removed flange and broken riser – to be replaced with leak less seal
I have been proposing stop leak solution and others relating to oil collection and sealing the well for months
to BP and multiple print/broadcast media…
1) – Stop Leak Now (SLN) Simplest Fix – Replace old flange and broken (now cut) pipe at top of BOP – has
“(6) hex nuts”,– with new flange and associated pipe to surface.Unscrewing “hex nuts” and replacing with
new outer flange. This is similar proceedure to when well was first installed (2001). This should make non
leaking connection to surface collection. Once again do not use dispersant into leaking oil so can be
collected by tankers at at surface – where are they ?
This could have been done after the smoke cleared (day 2) and this disaster avoided …

Here is what has been proposed to BP and multiple media sources for over a months. - can not sleep
watching this global disaster take place, unabated while there are solutions. It is unfathomable why this is
allowed to continue

1) why oil not contained and collected now and from day1 ? - no tankers at all !
2) why with relatively easy repair top flange and broken riser not replaced ? - a few days
..
3) why by using convential explosive +1000' in adjacent pipe well can be sealed ?
First and foremost is to focus on collection of prior and current oil spilled and spilling. This can be done now -
Warning: As you may concur - We do not have time to wait for relief wells in August ( may be more like
November and may not work) , by that time the Gulf will be a dead sea, Florida beaches and Everglades will
be black (more like orange goo), oil/dispersant mix headed north to wipe out east coast killing all life in it's
path. There will be stench of rotting animal life and toxic air which will promote respiratory disease and
cancer. When there is a hurricane it will "paint" the inland with slime and goo which will then be unlivable -
We most stop those responsible for exacerbating this unmitigated global disaster NOW . God help us -
amen .
We all or shold all know that bp is liable for oil spilled in $$$ per barrel and that the amount is calculated
using the amount recovered – therefore the incentive is to recover as little as positive – this is parathenticle to
saving life of the gulf – which is priceless –
the monetary cost s/b based on estimating the total oil spilled – minus the amout which was recovered –
which would make collect and confine as much oil as possible BP’s incentive.
The information described herein is submitted for broadcast and/or publication - thank you
Sincerely,
Michael Gruters
Immediate action (fix) - The"riser pipe" or stack that fell to ocean floor is mounted with (6) hex bolts to a
mating flange at the top of the BOP, this would be replaced by a new riser and flange (see link 2) – making a
leak-less seal to the surface collection operation. This has been estimated to take only 8 hrs. with the new
parts in hand.
note: BS from BP claims no room for another collection tankers because "too crowded" ? - so they are now
going to burn it and pollute the atmosphere as well...
These suggestions are on record at EPA (see link 1) at BP engineering for over a month -
1) – Stop Leak Now (SLN) Simplest Fix – Replace old flange and broken (now cut) pipe at top of BOP
– has "(6) hex nuts",– with new flange and associated pipe to surface.Unscrewing "hex nuts" and
replacing with new outer flange. This is similar proceedure to when well was first installed (2001).

This should make non leaking connection to surface collection. Once again do not use dispersant
into leaking oil so can be collected by tankers at at surface – where are they ?
This could have been done after the smoke cleared (day 2) and this disaster avoided ...
2) – Oil Collection Now - using newley designed Oil Containment Rings OCR’s – Need to be installed Now
This will stop further damage and start to remove prior oil pollution. - also of course there should be a floatilla of
tankers/barges collecting surface and submerged oil - where are they ? If we collect 99% of the oil being
leaked – then bp can take time to kill the well.
Start to build a “oil collection ring” flotation miles in diameter which has large booms (100′ by 6′ diameters)
with deep aprons that zipper together as they extend deep(300′ or more) below the surface (this happens
physically as aprons on modules are zipped) and capture the rising oil leak – which is continually pumped
into tankers/barges – circumvent first ring with a second and so on as needed. Do not use any dispersant –
pump out water separation from collected oil. of all the things that BP does wrong - the use of dispersant is
the worst ! Stop it Today. Aside from the toxicity the collection and containment of oil from the surface is far
easier as to almost impossible submerged !
3) – Seal Well Now (SWN) – drill +1000' parallel proximity shaft – place proper amount of explosives – seal
new shaft – detonate !
conventional explosive are well understood and should be adequate to blow bedrock through a 21" shaft -
how about tunnels through mountains or Hover Dam !
suggested nuclear explosion is absolutely ludicrous and at least 1000 times overkill . This could fracture the
seabed floor collapsing into oil reserve and releasing 25,000 square miles of oil.
Thank you
