Role Summary/Purpose:
The Mechanical Maintenance Supervisor provides direction and assistance to the work
group in order to meet assigned objectives. In this role you will work within defined
parameters to make decisions, apply concepts to issues of moderate complexity, and
resolve issues through immediate action or short-term planning.
Essential Responsibilities:

Plan, schedule and execution mechanical maintenance activities like for example
corrective, preventive and predictive maintenance procedures on equipment like gas
turbines, steam turbines, steam condenser, heat recovery steam generators, rotative
equipment, pumps, instruments, actuators, valves, and all other typical mechanical
equipment in a Combined Cycle Powerplant.
Lead by example in all GE initiatives including EHS, Quality, and Computerized
Maintenance Management System (CMMS IBM MAXIMO).
Train, supervise, and manage employee's activities and resources for maintenance
and/or repair of all mechanical equipment, following GE practices
Coordinate all maintenance activities between customer, contractors, other GE
divisions, and/or affiliates
Elaborate Root Cause Analyst following GE Procedures and Engineering Networking.
Maintain availability on 24 hour per day call basis with backup from the facility staf
P&ID handling.
Maintenance Plan Elaboration and Revision for Mechanical Area following GE O&M
Playbook.
Qualifications/Requirements:

Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering or related is preferred (or high school


diploma) with at least 4 years of demonstrable knowledge on Powerplant Operations
and Maintenance.
At least 1 additional year of experience in a management role
Availability to live in Rosario, Argentina
