Ethics and Integrity at Multinational Companies

Globalization will create more universal standards of business conduct, and these are
becoming more rigorous. Many factors including variant laws, managing employees, serving
customers and relating to suppliers and partners in multiple jurisdictions can introduce
significant challengers to developing shared corporate values and realizing a truly global
culture.
Issues, standards, and the essence are big challenge for multinational companies. How
foster a culture of ethical conduct in all countries of operation; how to engage a global
workforce in understanding and adopting its corporate values; and how to meet the web of
complex legal and compliance obligations that may exist in all its location are the issues
faced by multinational companies. Whereas standards in global ethics for multinational
companies, such as basic human interactions, respect for differences, and etc., will keep our
word and maintain credibility. For the essence of global ethics is based on self
understanding, tolerance of differences, and etc.
There are serveral important things that should be concentrated in Global Ethics and
integrity at Multinational Companies. There are Promoting a global corporate culture,
Establishing a corporate-wide code of conduct, Involving local offices in local policies,
Engaging global employees in ethics and compliance, Establishing a local presence by
forming a corporate-wide ethics and compliance committee, Developing local ethics and
compliance leadership, Educating all employees in their first language, and Building
culturally responsive reporting systems.
All important things above conlude that global ethics and integrity at multinational companies
need communication, language, relationship, understanding, and so on to build new struture
and provide a business (product or service) in a diferrent culture or country and in a new
circumstances especially focusses in compensation and reward (intangible). Seven practical
reasons that show the important of global ethics to organizations.

Global ethics and standard need to be used if we want to create a business in modern way,
especially for multinational companies. Diversity, new atmosphere, and some variances
need to be consider and need to be our concern to make great environment and to keep our
business sustainability.
