Ms. David presented an inquiry lesson in clear small steps checking for understanding as the lesson unfolded.

Students were engaged and eager to answer questions and participate in the learning activities.

Ms. David's enthusiasm was contagious.

The lesson delivery was supportive and challenging. Higher level thinking skills were included as seen in the
final portion of the lesson in which students designed and explained their flags.
