ParallelvsPerspectiveProjection

Parallelprojection

OrthographicProjection

Orthographic projection is a parallel projection technique in which the plane of projection is


perpendicular to the parallel line of sight. Orthographic projection technique can produce either
pictorialdrawingsthatshowallthreedimensionsofanobjectinoneviewormultiviewsthatshow
onlytwodimensionsofanobjectinasingleview.Theseviewsareshowninfigure5.
