Bloomingdale Elementary School's gifted education program is providing diverse learning experiences for gifted students in grades 1-5. Several students qualified for Duke University's Talent Identification Program and eight students will participate in academic competitions. The gifted program focuses on cognitive skills, learning skills, research/reference skills, communication skills, and affective development using the William & Mary curriculum.
