1.0 Introduction

English needs to be practiced in order to improve the language. English language is

something that can be learned in various ways. Assembly in English is one of the activity that
can be done in school that involve the teachers, staffs and pupils to improve English. This
activity can encourage everyone to speak the language.

2.0 Aim

English assembly aims to promote and create a highly immersive English environment in
school.

3.0 Objectives

All teachers, staffs and pupils of SK Nanga Entabai are able to:

i. develop their language skills ( listening and speaking)

ii. acquire new language in an interesting and relaxing atmosphere
iii. be confident to speak and practice English language
iv. create English environment in school

 TEXT FOR ENGLISH ASSEMBLY

A very good morning to our most honouroble headmaster, Encik Kenedy anak Baling,
senior assistant for administration, Puan Lily anak Guan, senior assistant for student affairs,
Encik Jenga anak Didi, senior assistant for co-curriculum, Encik Henry anak Adam, teachers,
staffs and friends.

We begin our assembly this morning by singing our National Anthem and Sarawak
State Anthem. Let us sing together. Ready, onetwothree

9.0 Conclusion

I hope that through the implementation of English in the assembly, it will impact all the
teachers, staffs and pupils in a way that it will change pupils perspectives especially in
learning the language learning environment by getting them out of their daily routine
