WIRELESS SOW OF BTS/ NodeB/Wimax BTS（BTS System）
There are 3 parts in BTS installation. These tasks will be described respectively as follows:
1) Hardware Installation
The technicians of subcontractor shall complete BTS/NodeB/Wi Max hardware installation

including all BTS equipments and auxiliary materials supplied by HUAWEI or customer under
supervision. The engineering team implements hardware installation according to the design documents
and equipment Installation Manual. If problems have happened, subcontractor shall fix all problems
and rectify them unconditionally.
The details as Follows:
。 Delivery equipment to the equipment room from ground floor or outside, if required.
。 RFI Check
。 Install the BTS/NodeB/Wi Max rack,DDF box and all interrelated auxiliary materials;
。 Lay out the trunk cables between Rack(s) and DDF;
。 Make the E1 connectors on both sides of BTS/NodeB/Wi Max rack and DDF, and
connect them correctly;
。 Install the other cables ( GND, PGND, DC, AC, Ethernet), and connect them to the
Rack ;
。 Install the optical fibers;
。 Connect the External Alarms and Install Alarm Box.
。 Installation of cable ladder support system inside the shelter.
。 Labeling for all cables and systems as supplied by Huawei
。 Clean the equipment room.
。 Assistance during Huawei SE/QC with resources and tools
。 GPS Installation if required

。 Installation material if required (Lugs, flexible PVC,fasteners etc)
。 Rectification if needed.
2) Hardware Installation Supervision

Hardware supervisor must complete the installation environment check ensuring it is Ready for
Installation (RFI), engineering negotiation (including plan of equipment, technicians, engineering
and schedule of installation) with customer and HUAWEI project manager, indicate the technicians
to install the hardware as agreed by all parties.
Supervisor shall guarantee the engineering quality based on the Hardware Quality Standard V1.5
Supervisor shall complete the engineering documents according to the Wireless Product
Engineering Manual,
Hardware Removal and Replacement must be directed by Supervisors. The equipment shall be
properly classified for the convenience to move to new place.
For detail technical requirements of BTS/NodeB/Wi Max, please refer to Product Installation
Manual.
The responsibility of BTS/NodeB/Wi Max supervisor is as following:
。 Carry out inspection for site ready for installation and submit report including MRN to
HUAWEI.
。 Indicate the technicians to deliver the equipments to the equipment room;
。 Receiving equipments and unpacking on site and inform Huawei about discrepancy,
if any
。 Guide the technicians to install the BTS/NodeB/Wi Max equipments and interrelated
auxiliary materials provided.
。 Complete the engineering documents according to the Wireless Product

Engineering Manual, and submit to HUAWEI project manager;
。 VSWR check and submit soft and hard copy to HUAWEI project/implementation
manager
。 Responsible for the engineering quality, organize the rectification on BTS/NodeB/Wi

Max installation if some problems happened.

。 Submission of site Quality report (HSQR).
3) PAT with Customer

After Software test, Huawei will submit preliminary acceptance application form to customer.
Supervisor shall complete the PAT items (Preliminary Acceptance Test) which are hardware parts
distributed by HUAWEI and customer. Supervisor shall report the progress on site and send daily
report to HUAWEI project manager everyday.
WIRELESS SOW OF BTS/NodeB/Wi Max（DC Power Equipment）
There are 3 parts in Power system installation. These tasks will be described respectively as
follows:
1． Hardware Installation
The technicians of subcontractor shall complete DC power equipment hardware installation
including Rectifier rack, power cable, GND and PGND cable and connectors and auxiliary
materials supplied by HUAWEI or customer under supervision. The engineering team implements
hardware installation according to the design documents and equipment Installation Manual. If problems
have happened, subcontractor shall fix all problems and rectify them unconditionally.
。 Deliver the equipment to equipment room from ground floor or outside, if required;
。 Install Rectifier rack and insert all the boards;
。 Connect the inner cables;
。 Lay out the power cable, GND and PGND cable;
。 Make connectors and connect them correctly;
。 Labeling for all the cables and equipment needed;
。 Install the cable ladder (indoor);
。 Test the parameters;

。 Assistance during Huawei site Engg /QC with resources and tools
2． Hardware Supervision
Hardware supervisor must complete the installation environment check ensuring it is Ready For

application form to customer. Supervisor shall complete the PAT items (Preliminary Acceptance
Test) which are hardware parts distributed by Huawei and customer. Supervisor shall report the
progress on site and send daily report to Huawei project manager everyday.

There are 3 parts in Battery system installation. These tasks will be described respectively as
follows:
The technicians of subcontractor shall complete Battery Groups hardware installation including
Battery cells, Battery cable, GND and PGND cable and connectors and auxiliary materials
supplied by HUAWEI or customer under supervision. The engineering team implements hardware
installation according to the design documents and equipment Installation Manual. If problems have
happened, subcontractor shall fix all problems and rectify them unconditionally.
。 Install battery banks.
。 Lay out the battery cable, GND and PGND cable;
。 Make cable connectors and connect them correctly;
。 Clean the battery room.

customer under supervision. The engineering team implements hardware installation according to the
design documents and equipment Installation Manual. If problems have happened, subcontractor shall
fix all problems and rectify them unconditionally.
。 Deliver the equipment to site from ground floor or outside , if required;
。 Install antenna support and fix the antenna to the suport;;
。 Lay out feeder cable and jumper with earthing cable;
。 Install feeder window;
。 Make feeder connectors and jumper connectors;
。 Connect the indoor jumper to BTS/NodeB/Wi Max/Wi Max rack;
。 Connect the outdoor jumper to the antenna;
。 Install the cable ladder (indoor) if required.
。 Install TMA, Filters and auxiliary material;
。 VSWR check with report (soft and hard copy )
。 Clean the site and field.

。 Installation of antenna mounts along with fixtures/Clamps for leg/face mounting as

per site requirement

auxiliary materials supplied by HUAWEI or customer under supervision. The engineering team
implements hardware installation according to the design documents and equipment Installation Manual. If
problems have happened, subcontractor shall fix all problems and rectify them unconditionally.
。 Insert the boards;
。 Lay out the outside cables;
。 Install the cable ladder if needed;

The technicians of subcontractor shall complete the integration including Transmission. If problems such as
Transmission and Board fail, feeder and antenna system fail and so on, subcontractor shall fix the
problems and rectify them.
Details as Follows:
。 Power on BTS/NodeB/Wi Max;
。 Check transmission, fix the problems cooperating with transmission engineer;
。 Solve other problems occurred on site before on air;
。 Execution of AT document with CUSTOMER and sign off from CUSTOMER

。 Submission of AT documents to CUSTOMER.
。 Clearance of Punch list.
WIRELESS SOW OF BTS/NodeB/Wi Max AT for PUBLIC Operator
 Perform tests item by item and mark the items one by one on the AT document
 Submission of AT documents to CUSTOMER.
 Execution of AT document with CUSTOMER and sign off from CUSTOMER
 If any punch point is observed the same needs to be rectified by Subcon before handing
over the same to Huawei.
WIRELESS SOW OF BTS/NodeB/Wi Max Commissioning
1. Commissioning (For Other Vendor BTS)

The technicians of subcontractor shall complete the commissioning. If problems such as software not
loading and Board fail subcontractor shall fix the problems and rectify them.

。 Software de bugging and call testing & on site in each sectors and ensure no sector
swap.
。 Solve all the problems occurred in commissioning
SOW for Deinstallation of BTS/Power systems/Accessories
1. Indoor BTS
The technicians of subcontractor shall complete BTS/NodeB/Wi Max hardware deinstallation
including all BTS equipments supplied by HUAWEI or customer under supervision. The
engineering team implements hardware deinstallation according to the design documents and
equipment Installation Manual. If problems have happened, subcontractor shall fix all problems
and rectify them unconditionally.
Below is the activity under deinstallation of Indoor BTS
 Perform HW check and inventory and signoff from CUSTOMER..

 If any Hardware faulty or Board alarm is observed the same needs to be documented in the
Inspection check report and highlighted to the end Operator and the same needs to be
signed jointly by Subcon and End Operator.
 Before Power-off the equipments Sub-con needs to confirm with the end Operator whether
any calls is still running in the corresponding BTS. If not then the power off procedure can
take place
 Dismantling of equipments (BTS cabinet, power cable, DDF, Jumper wire, Alarm cable,
PCM cable, grounding cable etc.
 sign off of alarms status
2) Outdoor BTS:
The activities involved in deinstallation of Outdoor BTS are
 Perform HW check and inventory and signoff from CUSTOMER.

 If any Hardware faulty or Board alarm is observed the same needs to be documented in the
Inspection check report and highlighted to the end Operator and the same needs to be
signed jointly by Subcon and End Operator.
 Before Power-off the equipments Sub-con needs to confirm with the end Operator whether
any calls is still running in the corresponding BTS. If not then the power off procedure can
take place
 Dismantling of equipments (BTS cabinet, power cable, DDF, Jumper wire, Alarm cable,
PCM cable, grounding cable etc.

 Deinstallation of all cables, accessories.
 If any Battery is observed faulty the same needs to be documented in the Inspection check
report and highlighted to the end Operator and the same needs to be signed jointly by
Subcon and End Operator
5) Power Plant

 Deinstallation of Power Plant, DCDB and Racks.
 Deinstallation of all cables, accessories.
 If any Power Plant is observed faulty the same needs to be documented in the Inspection
check report and highlighted to the end Operator and the same needs to be signed jointly
by Subcon and End Operator
6) Filter

 If any filter is observed faulty the same needs to be documented in the Inspection check
report and highlighted to the end Operator and the same needs to be signed jointly by
Subcon and End Operator.
 Deinstallation of Filter

subcontractor shall fix all problems and rectify them unconditionally.
。 Deliver the equipment to site from ground floor or outside , if required;
。 Install antenna support and fix the antenna to the suport;;
。 Lay out CPRI Cable and jumper with power cables and earthing cable;
。 Install feeder window;
。 Installation of RRU in each sectors on towers.
。 Make feeder connectors and jumper connectors;
。 Connect the indoor jumper to BTS/NodeB/Wi Max/Wi Max rack;
。 Connect the outdoor jumper to the antenna;
。 Install the cable ladder (indoor) if required.
。 Install TMA, Filters and auxiliary material;
。 Clean the site and field.

described respectively as follows, all the price shall base on typical S4/4/4 Configuration, in case of S2/2/2
Configuration site , we should use S4/4/4 price also:

Under this type of installation , BBU+RRU are installed inside the building .

Under this type of installation , BBU+RRU are connected by fiber cable. RRU may located at
different address within 40km.
9) BBU outdoor+RRU outdoor distributed installation
Under this type of installation , BBU+RRU are connected by fiber cable. RRU may located at
different address within 40km.

10) BBU outdoor+RRU outdoor centralized installation
Under this type of installation , BBU+RRU are connected by fiber cable. RRU may located at the
same tower , pole or on the wall.
