Basis Analysis:
1. Number of tweets per week of Our NU twitter handle is very less, We can promote our
students achievement by tagging their parents or relatives
2. We have to use at least a picture in most of tweets because it catches the audience attention
3. Faculty, leaders retweets can create better impressions. Post most of happening events inside
NU and share the blog link of our recognition in different platform.
4. Try to Connect with scientists and CEOs, VPs of companies , leaders(who has more
followers)

Observations:
1. Chandigarh university invested lot of money on social media marketing, With in 3 years
followers increased to almost 3000 .
2. Likes of their tweets high compare to other universities (paid marketing)
3. Because of celebrity visits retweets and likes more for Amity gurgaon, VIT university
4. Hashtags ,Retweet,tagging in other university tweets is more compare to NU

Twitter Ads:
Promoted Accounts and Promoted Tweets. Both great for increasing brand awareness but
they have separate use cases.
Promoted Accounts are best used to increase followers(goal of Promoted Accounts is to find
people who would be interested in your handle based on who you target)
Promoted Tweets should be used when you have a large announcement or campaign and want
to reach a larger audience than you would organically.
Increase followers:
Twitter policy: we cannot follow more than 2000 people unless some people following us
1. People wont follow randomly unless we follow them( follow some industry leaders and
leaders/ any big research institution in education filed)
2. Use TWEEPI.COM follow more people and followed by more people
3. Start analyse ,make list whom to follow ,how many celebrities to be followed
4. Paid marketing is necessary.
5. Twitter advertising self-service platform will allow you to target users by keywords, interest
Twitter Engagement rate improvement:
Most of people check twitter handle during 4pm to 12pm .So we have to post in that period or
we can promote in that time.
Recommendations:
Using Twitter Bots: (for retweeting automatically for favourite), and send direct
messages, for public replies (we are not using) and multiple uses.
