Altar - Was it firstborn? You pray your sacrifice will appease your deity.
Anathema - Fighting evil with perversion, your less heroic deeds cost you divine favor.
Betrayal - "I've told you what you want to know. Now...please...bring back my husband!"
The Necromancer grins. Hell be back
Black Banner - As desecration overpowers the land, the minions of hell wave their
insignia and rally behind their relentless leader.
Close Call - This is no ordinary wraith, but somehow you find a way to escape your
doom.
Cultist - Cutting out his tongue would interrupt the chanting, but soon you are fighting
the urge to repeat his words.
Dark Champion - A mountain of armor and rage towers before you...all the glory and
triumph gained in life, undone by corruption and a rotting soul.
Dark Scrying - Youve visited her before, but this time Madame Deszra stares into the
crystal and shakes her head, Your end is very soon...
Dark Tempest - You wake to a horrible storm and realize you have been wandering
aimlessly for hours.
Dead Servant - [Lore entry] Serving as eyes, ears, and weapon; the unwilling dead servant
is controlled distantly by a powerful warlock.
Demon - Terror roars from the dark fog around you, it may be too late to hide.
Desperate Bargain - The shadowy specter stays its claws as you plead, "Wait! ..."
Evil Day - The sky falls dark as an unholy aura glows from the eclipse, an omen of the
horror to come.
Guarded Trove - The barkeep said finding it would be the trial...
Horde - You hear the trampling and screams of an undead swarm approaching. Will you
join them?
Latent Spell - Before the interpretation of the glyph is even finished, the ancient magic
stirs, too unpredictable to control.
Lich - "I've been defeated countless times by foes who only needed be defeated once,"
scratched his centuries old voice. You, too, will one day perish by the sorcery of the
Necromancer's most vindictive ally.

Looters - Father Kellus had warned, "A hive of mystical bandits owns those roads...AND
whatever you think you'd use against them. Best to just take a different route."
Metamorphosis - When did you receive it? While tending your wounds from the last
few days of battle, you had thought one of them was a large bite...now you are sure of it.
Midnight - "Shouldn't we have seen a hint of daylight by now??"
Patrols - Something significant is undoubtedly nearby or this place wouldn't be so
heavily guarded. "Hurry! Before they come 'round again..."
Raid - You thought you'd covered your tracks so carefully, but here you stand
surrounded by what appears to be the Necromancer's entire army.
Renewal - There is no Fate. Not here.
Ritual - A low, droning vibration looms from the earth while you hesitate to consider if
the ceremony is worth disturbing.
Shambling Horror - This monster fits the description of what tore through the Royal
Guard and dragged off Princess Emalthea to the marshland, just one week before.
Sloppy Search - In a panic to gain a quick advantage, you cause enough havoc to alert
any nearby enemies.
Tracker - The elusive shadow that's been in the corner of your eye for days is now
crouching almost straight ahead, staring in your direction.
Twist of Fate - The last thing you expected to come across was an old charm you'd lost
years ago back home, yet here it's worn on a decapitated corpse at your feet. You
wonder if it still has any magic left...
Unfriendly Eyes - You think back to the old scrounger you shared a few moments with
by your campfire. He responded so grateful at first, yet his demeanor seemed to alter as
he turned away.
Upheaval - The Necromancer loses control of his power in a moment of weakness.
Vengeful Spirit - "Look...at...me..." No longer just a painful nightmare, it calls out your
name in the voice of someone you wronged not long ago.
Vile Messenger - Half the clergy would surely apostatize if they heard too soon of the
defilement that befell their daughters.
