New Energy source

If we are talking about contemporary America, we cannot ignore the Oil

War against Iraq. In the realm of politics, my cultural artifact represents an

image of the American flag along with a fuel gauge. The empty stage of the

fuel gauge indicates the word war where in the other side when the stage

is full, the word peace is presented. What is meant by this cultural artifact

is that when the previous American government led by George Bush felt the

need of getting more oil sources, they started a war against Iraq in the name

of war on terrorism. For most politicians who were in Bushs government,

the war against Iraq is unmarked because they thought that war against Iraq

was the right decision to make at that time without thinking of the

consequences of that decision. The major reason for that war was not only

fighting terrorism, but the world media tried to hide the fact that one of the

most important reasons for that war was economical.

Most casual observers can obviously see that Iraq was not a threat to

the USs safety, so the reasons for making this war was not clear except for

removing Saddam Hussein from his position which could have been done

without making a war. The ideology that the American government had when

taking the war decision differs than the one that has been presented in the

media. The media uses different types of strategies to enforce the audiences

to believe them. One strategy the media uses is by having one of the

politicians give a speech about the war and inform the public that war was

the only appropriate thing to do. Therefore, most Americans who get

influenced by what is said in the media received what is called a false

consciousness believing that Bushs government did what is right for them.

Despite the fact that most Americans were against the War before it

happened, the media played a big role in shifting that position.

From a logical perspective, the Iraq War is playing a big role in forming

or changing the personalities of the American soldiers, who have been or are

in Iraq, and Iraqi citizens as well. When taking a closer look at the popular

culture of both countries consisting of radio, television, movies, etc.. , we can

conclude that both American and Iraqi popular cultures are affected by the

war in a way or another. In the United States, the number of movies about

the Iraqi War can be taken as an example of how the American popular

culture is influenced by the war. The truth that there are economical

purposes behind this war should be shown to people especially in the United

States. The hope is that movie producers do not forget to mention the right

reasons that made the American government get involved in that war

especially that the American government and most of the worldwide media

have wrongly mythologized the reasons for that war. None of the American

politicians was confident enough to face the world and criticize the horrible

decision made by Bushs government.

Leaders of great countries do commit bad deeds sometimes, and it is

our responsibility to point out these bad actions and try to fix them. Indeed,

great countries are not always led by capable and confident leaders. The aim

of my cultural artifact is to hope that the current US government led by

Obama reevaluated the purposes and the consequences of Iraq War and try

to help Iraq recover. We are going to run out of oil someday, so instead of

fighting to get enough oil for today and tomorrow, we should work on finding

energy sources to help the future generations. Finally, I hope that we empty

our world from the selfishness and our lives get filled with peace and love.

To have the world in peace, we must apply our new power source that

is to have air in pressure and full in it a car to have it works. The benefit from

this is having a clean environment that will help all generations and its all

over the world.

After applying air in to the car or any other machine that needs oil, Oxygen

and Carbon dioxide will come out of it so it will help people and plants

breath. Also, all other countries that have power to war will stop that and will

get air from their own countries because its everywhere.
