Dear Mr. Pope,

Currently, many people are not happy with the churchs corruption,
including me. I am writing to you to explain what you have been doing lately, what
we do not like, and some suggestions on how to solve this. Lately, you have been
allowing the selling of indulgences. All of the leaders in the church have been
making and showing poor actions and movements. You, the Pope has been acting
like he is the greatest authority, however the bible should be the greatest
authority. There are many things that people are not happy with.
Many people are not happy with these changes being made in the church.
The church is becoming too wealthy and powerful, collecting taxes and being able
to select and remove kings. Everyone has lost faith in God, and the church, after
many loved ones have died from the black plague. This selling of indulgences is
completely insane; being able to pay yourself out of your sins, allowing you to go
to heaven. No, this is not okay, there are people, including me who are poor and
are not able to pay off their sins. The church is very corrupted, nothing is like what
it used to be. The church is able to select people for jobs, so all they are doing is
choosing their friends. But then, there are many people who are not friends with
the priests, Pope, or king, so they are not getting jobs. The leaders are acting very
immoral and making horrible decisions.
To stop us from leaving your church in the future, I recommend a large
change in the church. Stop the selling of indulgences - many people are not happy
with this law - and it is not fair. The high taxes that we are paying you are horrid.
You can keep collecting taxes, just significantly lower them. Please try to make
better decisions. Choose people to represent the church based off of their
qualities, not if you are friends with them. I hope this helps you to modify the
church a little, so that I do not leave. Please consider what I have just written to
you about in the next week, and then start making these changes, thanks!
