Based on the data allocation from the respective company above, highest
production rate of ammonia was generated by PETRONAS Sabah SAMUR
Division which up to 740 000 tonne per year of ammonia and believed to
increase because of massive regional area constructed later on. On the
other hand, new established company Huchems Malaysia located in
Bintulu had second highest ammonia production rate amounting to 600
000 tonne per yer year and expected to experience the increment rate of
their ammonia production. Meanwhile, other three sub-division of
PETRONAS namely as ASEAN Bintulu Fertilizers Sdn Bhd, PETRONAS
Ammonia Sdn Bhd and PETRONAS Fertilizer (Kedah) Sdn Bhd hold
ammonia production rate that bring up to 400 000 tonne per year, 400
000 tonne per year and 375 000 tonne per year respectively. In short,
ammonia production capacity which strongly governed by PETRONAS SDN
BHD gave significant value to the ammonia industry for long run
production. Ammonia production rate from above allocation sums up to 2
515 000 tonne per year and giving the average value about 503 000
tonne per year. In regard of our company regulations, we will acquire half
of the average production rate of ammonia from above distributions and
expected to produce 251 500 tonne per year.
