Area adults are invited to join John McIntire Library and the Convention & Visitors Bureau in welcoming author
Richard Fleming as he discusses his historical novel about the life of Lewis Wetzel. Wetzel came of age near the
end of the Revolutionary War and was an important figure in the 20 year war between the woodland Indian
Nations and the settlers of western Pennsylvania, western Virginia, and Kentucky. Box lunches will be available
beginning at 11:30 a.m. Registration is required and space limited for this free program. Copies of the book will be
available for purchase and signing after the program. Contact the Reference Desk at John McIntire Library at
